Thank god someone still knows how to make quality
tv ! I'm only about 5 seasons too late and behind.But better late than never.
Having just completely viewed Season 1 of
The Wire(Thank you V & K for that) I must say I was
very impressed!! Infact I was very hooked. And when it ended I wanted
more!!Noooo don't end!!!

But lucky for me, I still have 4 more
seasons to look forward to.Finally something good on TV!!!

This show is just sooo crap its not even funny.
How did they ever get a budget
to keep a show like this running. I guess perhaps
they count on retards like me watching it..

The only reason i like to wwatch is i keep waiting f

You can tell some of those so called "ghost investigators"
are absolutely shitting themselves on that show.

The funny thing with C.R.A.P.S..errr i mean
T.A.P.S is they more or lesss are trying to debunk
ghost sitings, where as like 95% people dont believe in them anyway.
So I just dont know what the real
point of the show is.Its like a cheaper version of the Blair Witch project.
And everything is always so wonderful to the Micheal Chiklas look-a-like guy.

Stockholm sure has changed

Our weekend trip over to Stockholm.Well thanks
to good company, ate well, but shopping just wasent very successful.
Shopping wasn't our main goal but always nice to pick up a little
something. But the idea was just to see Stockholm. I felt it sure had
changed.

The price difference compared to Helsinki was pathetic.. I mean I used
to come outa that country back in the day with
arms full of cool stuff and fairly priced. Now seems like on every
corner there is an H&M or TopShop and just even for very
basic stuff its way more pricey than in Helsinki..

Also just the general "what are trendy-in fashion now" things
are just so rubbish...couldnt find hardly
anything I wanted.

I sure hope Topman doesnt come to Finland. Its the exact samme
shit H&M sells... Same cheap quality that all of those mass production places are doing
these days and over charging for it too.

It still is a beautiful city though, weather alwayss
seems to be better than our sad typical Finnish weather this time of
year.

My feel of Stockholm after spending just only a few hours on the busy
shopping streets was that the design in Stockholm can feel a bit too trend-dependent,
with everyone desperately following in the tracks of what catches on or heh what might
not,just seems a bit too pretencious.
For example one damn trend which I dont exactly know why it had to
catch on was these damn terrorist scarfs uughhh >>>

Yes they have also made it to Finland tooo sadly.

Nothing wrong with looking good but
people gotta loosen up a hair there as now it feels
like one big fashion runway

Shopping wise, Sure wont be Stockholm again anytime soon.

A scooper at Superhero Hype caught a glimpse of First Look footage of
the film and lived to tell about it, saying "pretty much the entire
trailer was cut in, [director Louis] Leterrier did a lot of talking
about how he liked the fugitive aspect from the TV series (of which
there were a few clips). Blonsky talked, said something to the effect
that the Hulk was something really crazy... There was a shot of stunt
men throwing around, Roth in cables on some falling platform. Ed running
from a few new shots."

However, we got an email (on Monday, so theoretically it's not a prank,
and sounds like other news we've heard) from a source that wished to
remain anonymous, saying, "Apparently things aren't going too well on
the project. There have been five different cuts of the film and Edward
Norton was removed from the editing bay last month and is threatening to
refuse to do any publicity for the film. The main problem seems to be
regarding the prologue of the film. It's not really a sequel, but it's
not an origin story either so they cannot come up with an agreeable way
on how to tell new audiences who Banner/Hulk is and why he is on the run
from the military. One cool thing that he did say about the film is that
at the very end Tony Stark appears and there is a scene about forming a
new organization. That sure sounds like a setup for 'The Avengers.'"

I am sorry but this is just too much.. I have tried to respect all forms of music,
but this is just shit!Its scary to think we live in a country where the vast majority
actually voted for these fruitcakes.How did George Dubya Bush make it to president?
Well the majority voted for him!!! I just cannot figure this out. Both of these

Ok im sorry, I have been trying to give this show
a chance, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

This show is basically on the scale of cheaters, but deals
with ghosts and so called paranormal activity. The only problem
is that there never really seems to be any. Just a bunch of geeks who have watched one too many
horror flick when they were kids sitting quietly in dark places waiting for something to go crash
in the night. "Give us a sign if there is a presence in this s roomm...""
BOOOOOM!!! and thats the sound of one of the skilled T.A.P.S cameramen
dropping their hi-tech videocam to the floor. " Shit I dropped my

my ear, i felt it!!" No you didnt
you dork!!!

Its just the same thing over and over. They go to some creepy
places film like 20 hours of footage, then spend half the show going over frame by
frame footage of what they think may be an audio clip of an "evil spirit" sneezing
in the night.

I mean to be honest, I don't know how this show even got a budget to
start with. Find some damn ghosts. These geezers just drive around in slick
humvee style jeeps lead by.. I swear a Michael Chiklis look
alike I mean these guys must be long lost twins @
birth (proof below).

The Michael Chiklis clone dude always trys to pretend he is all calm
and composed, but deep down I think he is brickin' himself in the shows. If they ever do sosee
some scary ass ghost he will be the first guys running with his cheap camcorder screaming
Mummy at the top of his lungs..

On every "coming next on T.A.P.S" episode preview they always
show something that scares the living shit out of
you. Then your like "I gotta watch the next episode man something is gonna go down this time!!".
And then turns out they have just edited some
blooper where the guys are clowning
around and haven't actually seen diddly
squat!!

In movies when 2 people are having a deep conversation, a really intense
scene. How come neither of them either say "bye" or "see you later" or anything when they quit talking?
Is it like some kind of an unspoken rule in film making that its "simply uncool" if someone says
something to terminate a call.

Or then the 2 people will just remain with the phone clinging to their ear until they cut to a new scene.I have never understood that.

Or then how come in a restaurant scene when someone is paying the bill they always seem to have exactly the right amount of cash handy, and or they never wait for change..they just leave the money and they walk out of the restaurant.

Summer agenda

Well..summer plans need to be made soon. Again this year I think we are going to
go for the Stockmann's Crazy Days. We have managed to get good deals via there for a few years now.

But we don't know which destinations will be on sale yet. Its most likely that there will be some tickets to Asia. Either Hong Kong or Singapore is cool. We would also of course like to make it to Phuket and spend some time there.

As before we have been in Phuket for the so called rainy season. But its never been bad at all.
Way less tourists which is always nice. One may get some rain, but its been lucky for us not too bad ever.

Crazy Days always sucks as you need to be there quite early. Last year we thought 7:30am was an early start but there was only about 400 people there before us so lol.
So I think tickets to any part in Asia is cool, somewhere quite close to Thailand would be convinient.
Most likely 3 weeks would be a good time for our holidays.

Yes, thats right another Hulk movie. And it looks just as bad as the first one. Perhaps a hair less Shrek
but still..I think some comic adaptations work as films, namely X-men and Batman. But Hulk just is not happening. Shame, as Edward Norton is a pritty cool geezer but I don't know why he decided to take this on.

Before they started making this they said they would stay more in line with the original tv series. But this
looks exactly like the first one. Same huge oversized Hulk. I dont get it. And Hulks nemesis in this looks simply retarded im sorry. Sorta like Spiderman's Sandman lol but a hunchback.

Who knows maybe it will do well for some god knows why reason. Next summer shit or whatever but I sure as

New A-Team movie in the build?

The A-TEAM is the latest TV series lined up to become a blockbuster movie - and according to movie sources the perfect cast has already been picked.

Hot on the heels of the fantastically successful CHARLIE'S ANGELS film, producers feel now is the time to turn the action series into a movie.

The script for the film will be written for UNIVERSAL by KEVIN BRODBIN. His most notable credit to date is STEVEN SEAGAL movie THE GLIMMER MAN. Brodbin's task is to transform the series into an action-comedy film with a contemporary feel. The release date is planned for 2002.

The line-up is

H.M "MADMAN" MURDOCK - JIM CARREY
TEMPLETON "FACE" PECK - CHRISTIAN BALE
HANNIBAL SMITH - MEL GIBSON

Although an all-new cast will be used, producer STEPHEN J CANNELL says he's going to use original A-Team members in the film. He says, "GEORGE PEPPARD has passed away. And pretty generally, the feeling is when you do a big budget feature film based on a television show, you should replace all the leads so that the movie does not feel like a television episode "But I intend to offer parts to the old cast of the show if they are available and if Universal agrees. Stay tuned on that one."

And a movie source reveals, "Obviously we're no-where near releasing a definite cast-list yet, but we've already got our 'dream cast' in our minds. "Funnily enough it took us less than ten minutes to work out who we wanted - the names just presented themselves. "We see VING RHAMES playing B.A. BARACUS because he's the only guy who could do him justice. "We want CHRISTIAN BALE to play FACE for obvious reasons and JIM CARREY would be perfect for MAD MAN MURDOCK. "The only character we can't agree on is HANNIBAL. He has to be perfect. The main contenders are TOMMY LEE JONES and MEL GIBSON."

There's been no mention of a female character, but it seems likely that TANYA ROBERTS's character AMY will make an appearance in the film. In line with the TV series, producers are planning to keep the action non-mortal instead concentrating on large-scale explosions and clever inventions. The budget is expected to be in the $100 million (£66m) mark, and pundits are predicting a full-on special effects extravaganza.

I dunno about this. It seems movie makers must be running out of ideas. remake upon remake upon...
and few ever are very good. As cool as Micheal Mann is even I thought the new Miami vice was just a bit of a waste of time really. I mean it didnt star any of the original actors so it could have just as easily been called any other title except Miami Vice.

Same thing will be with the A-Team. I mean really..whats the point. If you like A-team then you buy some old episodes. I dont think A-team was all that popular in Finland, infact often if i ever bring up A-team here people just wonder, whats that? I don't know if they ever showed it on tv here.
Maybe Sub Tv might have it.

I heard John Singleton is slated to direct. I dunno..last Singleton movie I saw wasent all that shabby. Four Brothers, actually pritty awful. There have also been rumours that Ice cube could be a possible Mr.T but
personally I don't think he could pull it off well enough..

Seems hollywood, and movies in general, well lets say for sure in the US at least just has become
a money monster..They will make anything, if it sells. A bit sad, but its been like that for years already.
Scary thought to think what movies will be like when we no longer are around, even in 20 yrs will there be anything fresh anymore? A bit concerning that.

Well I havent been blogging for very long and to be totally
honest writing isn't really my thing. But having produced music for the past
10 years actively, and now taking a slight break from that, or should I call it early retirement lol
I have had a lot more time to perhaps pursue and do other things. Infact now I sometimes even feel bored or
frusterated that.. what could I do on my hours off work? So I thought I try this. It is an outlet and way to
get ones thoughts out anyhow.

I thought I would add some pics of myself, just random pics of me in Finland, Sweden, Thailand,Singapore, Hong Kong and well for now maybe thats will do. I will be adding more for sure so stay tuned!

Office Space:

Just a great flick. Know most of it by heart. Milton and Lumberg rule!
This is one of those films that you can just watch a million times and its always
funny. They do sell quite a bit of Office Space film memorabilia on the
net. Im really into the little Milton and Lumberg toys..might have to get my swerve on and
order those one day for the office!

HEAT

Ok, if I had to take one movie to a deset island, and well they happend to have electricity, or a lifetime supply of batteries and dvd player it would have to be this film.
Fantastic line up of actors. Wicked soundtrack and just a perfectly working formula. And well
Micheal Mann, just is the man!

Batman Begins

Batman Begins also has a superb soundtrack by James Newtoon Howard. Excellent soundtrack stuff!
Im much looking forward to The Dark Knight. That looks promising.

I've always been a bit of a Batman
freak, but he just is too damn cool. Not all the super hero's work.I mean Hulk was just so

Hey who couldn't love this film. The script is untouchable.
Some brilliant Kubrick for dat azz. This film is yet another one of those that you
almost learn every line. Its just too damn funny. Sgt Hartman is the shit!

Ever since I was a young kid I have always really been interested on the subject of Ufo's. Yes even before X-Files became a household name! But I think now in 2008 they should drop the "U" and just called them Fo's, flying objects. They seem to be an all too a common site in the skies above us these days. And not just in the States either. One does wonder why is that everything only ever happens in the States! An asteroid is heading to earth and is gonna take out Manhattan! Why can't it be headed to Denmark, or Helsinki even!Ok.. well we are getting a little off topic now.

It seems the whole Ufo subject sorta came and went, well there was a mass alien freak show trend when x-files came out. But that is a bit of a shame also. As in some ways one could almost think the more fiction they put out on the subject, also the more it discredits the sitings and whole phenomena.

I myself am a firm believer. Infact, what still seems so strange is how people laugh about it. You mention flying saucers, or say you have seen one, and people usually laugh.
I read somewhere that in the U.S alone something like 90% of the population actually believes in the phenomena. I think you have to be crazy not to really.

Obviously with the internet these days you do have to becareful what you read into. There is a lot of rubbish out there also. But one thing I have found pritty interesting is something called The Disclosure Project. They have a few features of this, one on You tube which is almost a couple hours long.ng

There is some pritty interesting stuff in here. Take in what you will. Must admit the Nasa images are pritty freaky. One does think that "don't those astronauts ever see anything in space?". Well seems its almost an everyday occurance =)

I think with Ufo sitings though. If you see something, great. But what good will reporting them really do?
Usually the reports seem to be very similar. I think there have been so many reports worldwide now through the years that its pritty obvious that we aren't alone.

My own simple theory is this. I think we are just being observed, watched from above and not directly intervened with. One does wonder how there cannot be 1 shread of proof out there yet. But then again. Remember what you hear or see in the news may not always be the full truth.

Alot of the so called flying objects people see are quite possibly advanced millitary aircraft some of the time.
Not everything has little green men at the controls =)

I think any advanced government, again not just the Americans probably knows a lot more than we do.
This subject obviously is one that you could go on and on about and I don'f feel like writing all night. Its just so weird to me that its not talked about more. That is amazing. I can see how people would absolutely freak out if they announced on the news tonight that "YES THEY HAVE LANDED! THEY ARE AMONG US" lol. It probably would create some type of mass hysteria, and all those religious nuts would have a field day.

In closing, today I just happend to think about Juhan Af Grann. What did happen to the guy.

Everyone just seems to have digged the last Bond so much.
Including myself. I must admit I had doubts about our new man when it
was announced. Yes I had out my picket sign and was protesting CRAIG NOT BOND!

Well actually I'm not quite that sad. But he sure did proove everyone wrong. I happend to watch
a documentary on JIM channel yesterday, really the only channel I will watch if I happen to watch telly.
It was a Daniel Craig doc. Most of it was filled up with those boring ass Media analysts telling their view of
"why Daniel is so hot" or "why the press are after daniel" and on and on. Seems like these type of entertainment shows always hav the same format. Some martian looking reporters always kissing ass.

But Daniel definately is the man. I have seen him in only just a few films, Munich and Bond. Thats it. I am not all that familiar with his older days. But the man seems all about quality. You absolutely cannot even compare Pierce Brosnan to Daniel.Pierce was a lame-o. Never was into him. He should just do some more Mrs.Doubtfire's!

They are filming the new Bond, probably as I type away here. it is called Quantum Solace, hope I spelt that right.

Daniel can be my foster uncle anytime!

Today, I simply have no life at all. Must be
due in part to a few too many beers last night at O'Malleys.

I went to see Rambo 4 with my buddy Mikko a few weeks ago. Yes sadly we did both pay 11 euro each to go see that. It's just a guy thing you know. Your girlfriend, wife or sister
won't understand no matter how many times you try to somehow explain it. It's just one of those man things.
You just gotta man up and see it!

The movie itself really wasent all that bad. I mean I was positively surprised. I found it
extremely violent though. But I guess what
can one expect. You more or less know what
your gonna get when you go and see John J in action.
Killing will be as easy as breathing.

The funniest thing though wasent the movie lol, but the guy sitting next to us. He was this huge big and buffed body-builder type bloke, veins bursting outa his skin you know. Now most people when they go and see a movie they drink coke and munch on popcorn or something, but this guy had a litre carton of piimä!
Who brings piimä to a movie?? Rambo would be very dissapointed indeed!

After seeing the film, I happend to read on the net that due in part to the success this last film
was they are now considering making one more haha. I mean is it me..or didn't John just come
*full circle*??? Is he gonna go around again?

What more could be possibly do in a fifth installment? Goes to show that in Hollywood, as long as they make money they will always come up with a way to come up with just one more sequel, or prequel or
whatever. Sad I know.

Anyhow, after getting that off my chest I think im gonna go pour me a tall glass of piimä.

Righteous Kill

I can't wait to see this. You know that

Infact I think sometimes it concerns

will be ok. I really digged the last
Batman Begins.I think that was done
with the right approach. Wicked
soundtrack also.

Its a real shame though about
Heath Ledgers untimely death.
Real shame. Guy was a real talent.
Sort of weird to be seeing a movie
this summer, when TDK releases,
and the actor is dead in it.
I think he will make a fine joker.

Damn I have always loved A&F clothes, they are so on point. Its a shame though that you can only get the stuff in the US. I don't think they have any plans yet to go international.
Ordering from them via the net is possible, but its the shipping that always kills me. Costs usually as much as what you order! So double for example your shirt price, and thats what you will pay.

What better way to start off my blogging then with a tribute to shoes. You can never have enough of them can you! I must admit I think I have a problem, and need therapy.Thankfully i'm not made of money, so I cant P-Diddy a pair everyday. Finding super cool shoes in Helsinki still isn't super easy. There seem to be a few shops now on the up and up.So its definately a lot better then it was 5 years ago, 10 years ago. Back in the day if you wanted shoes, about your only choice was the classic "kävelykenkä a.k.a kusiluikkari" still seen today..hey its a classic, they wont go away!
